VR2004 Downloads
Requirements for upgrade: A qualified service technician, with a PC running Microsoft Windows, having a DB9 serial port, and appropriate DB9F-M straight through cables, with a #1 philips screwdriver and a monitor can upgrade the text inserter.
Step 1. Please download and read the instructions for using the VRXLoader upgrade software.
Step 2. Down load the new software of the correct POS (or
ECR)

Step 3. Move jumper J1 in the Text Inserter if necessary. J1 must be on pin 1-2 for programming.
Step 4. Upload the new software.
Step 5. Set jumpers to the correct location for operation.
Step 6. Connect the Text Inserter into the POS and test.
